Michelle Sloan is in her 4rd year of teaching 3rd grade at Holy Rosary. A Nashville native, she joined the HRA staff after teaching 19 years in both Metro Nashville Public Schools and Wilson County Schools. She has taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th grades, was a Title 1 coordinator, and worked in the gifted education program known as "SEEK," serving students in 3rd - 7th grades.
Michelle feels so blessed to be at HRA where she can teach and share her faith with her students.
"It is so much fun to weave God's love into our daily lessons, and when I show children how scripture goes along with everything we do, that is when I get that "Wow!" moment!"
She and her husband, John, have a son, David, who also attends Holy Rosary. When time allows, she enjoys reading, gardening, exercising,
attending all types of musical concerts, and spending time with her family and friends.
Her family are parishioners of St. Stephen Catholic Community.
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Tennessee Tech University.
